A NEW CHAPTER:
Our Megasite Launch
We recently celebrated the official relaunch of our Megasite in Cape Town, marking an exciting new chapter as Goosebumps and Zeelandia come together on one site.
The momentous occasion brought together members of the team, partners and special guests to celebrate this important milestone and the opportunities it represents for the future. We were also honoured to welcome Kees-Jan van Wees, COO of Royal Zeelandia Group, who joined us from the Netherlands for the celebration and official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The event was made even more special with the opportunity to showcase some of our latest product innovations. A big thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this exciting milestone. We look forward to the opportunities, collaboration and growth that this new chapter will bring.
HEALTH & SAFETY DAY
On 8 June 2026 Magic Brands celebrated International World Foods Safety Day. The World Health Organisation commemorates World Food Safety Day to raise awareness, promote collaboration, educate and inform, support economic development, foster innovation and improvement, and strengthen food safety systems. These objectives aim to ensure that food safety is a shared responsibility between governments, producers, and consumers, and to reduce the burden of foodborne diseases globally.
Magic Brands honoured World Food Safety Day by inviting our service providers to educate and engage with the Food Handlers on how their services keep all Magic Brands food safe for its consumers. The aim was to emphasise how food safety is everyone’s business in the supply chain and the vital role our Food Handlers are in this regard.
Magic Brands celebrated the day by honouring their Food Handlers by empowering knowledge, acknowledging Food Safety Champions, sharing lunch with Operational Managers and sending them off in style with branded goodie bags.
A huge thank you to Magic Brands Top management for displaying management commitment towards Food Safety and to all Operational Staff for their participation in making the day a tremendous success.
